Big Bash League: Luck ran out as soon as he was selected in the Australian team, Sam Konstas could not even open his account.

Cricket News Desk. Australia's squad for the fourth and fifth Tests of the Border Gavaskar Trophy was announced on Friday. Opener Nathan McSweeney has been dropped from the team. Sam Konstans has been included in the team in his place. Right-handed opening batsman Kontas is only 19 years old. He scored a half-century in just 20 balls in his first match in the Big Bash.

Constas out on zero
Sam Constas took the field a day after joining the Australian team. His team, the Sydney Thunders, was facing the Sydney Sixers. Constas was out in the very first over of the match. He was bowled by left arm spin bowler Akil Hussain. Constas could not even open his account in the innings of 3 runs in 3 balls. This was only the second T20 match of his professional cricket career.

It may debut in Melbourne.
The fourth match of the Test series between India and Australia is to be played in Melbourne. Which is starting from 26th December. Sam Constas' debut seems certain in this match. He can open the innings with Usman Khawaja. Kontas played a brilliant inning of 107 runs in the practice match before the day-night test against India. He scored these runs on just 97 balls.

Cameron Bancroft scored 70 not out. Ben Dwarshuis led the team to victory by scoring 20 runs in 8 balls in the last match. Jorned Silk played an unbeaten inning of 36 runs. Sixers won this match by 5 wickets.
