Veteran tech company LG launches its first transparent TV, price and hi-tech features will blow your mind
Tech News Desk –The brand has some of the best next-gen TVs under the LG Signature series. This includes the OLED TV R with a rollable screen, launched in 2019, and the OLED T with a transparent screen, announced at CES 2024 in January 2024. The OLED T is LG's first transparent OLED TV and is now available in select global markets. Let's talk about its price, availability, specs and key features.

The LG Signature OLED T is available in the US starting this month. The company says that soon other markets will also be included in this list. The price of LG OLED T in America is $60,000 (approximately Rs 51,10,800). Since the OLED TV R was once available in India, we may see the OLED T in India sometime in the future. The company has not yet said anything about the availability of OLED T in India.

design:Without the stand, the TV weighs around 60 kg and measures 69.6 x 41.1 x 10.3 inches.
Display: The LG OLED T features a 77-inch 4K OLED panel that can be switched between transparent and opaque modes via a button. The screen has a 4K Ultra HD (3,840 x 2,160) resolution and a 120Hz native refresh rate. It also has Dolby Vision and 4K AI super upscaling feature. All of them are powered by LG's Alpha 11 processor.
Gaming Features: The TV supports 4K120Hz gameplay, variable refresh rate (VRR), auto low latency mode (ALLM), adaptive sync, and a response time of less than 0.1ms.
special features: Includes T-Object (always-on display mode with photos or art gallery), T-Bar (notifications, sports updates, weather updates, etc.), T-Home (quick toggles for available services and apps and settings) .
audio:The TV features downward-firing 4.2 channel speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and AI Enhanced.
Connectivity: All I/O ports and modules are part of a separate 'Zero Connect' box that includes HDMI (with QMS (Quick Media Switching) and eARC), Bluetooth 5.1, USB 2.0, Wi-Fi 6E, and Ethernet.
