The company's sales have declined in the last few months. Ola Electric has announced this discount on the occasion of increasing the number of its stores four times. A discount of up to Rs 7,000 is being given on the S1 range of the company's electric scooters. Apart from this, a free warranty of Rs 7,000 will be given on the battery of the electric scooter for 8 years or 80,000 kilometers.
There is a benefit of Rs 6,000 on the company's MoveOS. A discount of up to Rs 5,000 can be availed on purchasing electric scooter through credit card EMI. Ola Electric has also informed about releasing MoveOS 5 beta for its electric scooter. MoveOS has been given as the operating system in the company's S1 electric scooter. The same operating system will also be used in its electric motorcycle. With MoveOS 5, features like group navigation, live location sharing and road trip mode will be available through Ola Maps. Apart from this, features like smart charging, smart park and TPMS alert will also be added. Crutrim AI assistant will help in using these features. The company has said that it plans to reach every city. For the last few months, the company has been facing difficulties due to complaints of lack of service.
Recently, Ola Electric had said that it will increase its sales and service network to 4,000 stores on December 25. This will be one of the fastest launches of EV distribution. The company has prepared to deliver its affordable and better quality EVs in every city with about 3,200 new stores. Earlier this month, the Central Consumer Protection Authority (CCPA) had asked the company to provide additional documents in connection with the notice served to it on alleged violation of consumer rights and unfair business practices. In October, CCPA had issued a show cause notice to the company for alleged violation of consumer rights, misleading advertising and unfair business practices. Ola Electric has also made efforts to resolve service-related complaints.
