This place of Gwalior can be the best for affordable and eco-friendly destination wedding, every moment will become memorable in low budget.
A unique initiative has been started in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, where destination weddings will now be organized. This event will be held in the country's first Gaushala, where the marriage will be solemnized with Vedic chanting. Specially for this, a grand cultural pavilion is being prepared at a cost of Rs 20 lakh. In this pavilion, the marriage of every bride and groom will be done with traditional and religious customs. This wedding ceremony is going to take place on 22nd January and the entire wedding expenditure during this wedding will be between two to three lakh rupees. The manager of the cowshed told that the cowshed will arrange for Brahmins for the marriage and it will be mandatory to feed the cows before the marriage. Through this initiative, not only the traditional culture is being promoted in the Gaushala of Gwalior, but environmental protection and customs are also being respected.
The main objective behind organizing Gaushala Vivah is to connect the youth with their Indian culture and traditions. Regarding this initiative, the saints of Laltipara Adarsh Gaushala located in Murar say that in this era of destination wedding, organizing the marriage ceremony in the Gaushala is a great effort to connect the young generation with its customs and Indian culture. The saints believe that this initiative will not only give respect to traditional marriage, but the coming generation will also understand the importance of Indian culture. The purpose of getting married here is to preserve the culture of the country and pass it on to the coming generations.
Another specialty of Gaushala weddings is that the bride will be seen off in a beautiful bullock cart instead of expensive cars. The bullock cart has been specially designed so that it presents a beautiful image of a traditional Indian farewell. Apart from this, special palanquin has also been arranged for the varmala program, which will make this wedding even more traditional and grand. Traditional and healthy food will be served to the guests at this wedding ceremony, which will mainly include dishes made from coarse grains (millet). Serving these dishes will not only promote the uniqueness of Indian cuisine but will also promote a healthy lifestyle. Also, there will be a complete ban on drugs and fast food in this event. Kulhars and pattals will be used instead of disposable plates and glasses, making the event completely eco-friendly.
During this wedding ceremony, 35-40 cottages are being built for the guests, where 10 people can stay in one cottage. With this initiative, family members will experience the perfect marriage by staying in a hut. The cottages are being constructed in such a way that guests can experience the traditional village lifestyle and also get a chance to connect with nature. Apart from this, Bio CNG plant has also been installed in the Gaushala, which is operated with the help of Gwalior Municipal Corporation. The CNG produced from this plant is used by the Municipal Corporation, so this initiative will help in saving the environment and saving electricity. This initiative is an important step for Gwalior, as it is part of a sustainable (sustainable and environment friendly) event.
