A glimpse of the funny friendship between Rana Daggubati and Dulquer Salmaan

Prime Video's 'The Rana Daggubati Show' has been winning over its viewers with every episode by giving them glimpses into the lives of the biggest stars of Indian cinema. Known for its unique blend of heart-warming conversations, hilarious banter and behind-the-scenes stories, the show returns with a new twist every week. In this episode, the charismatic Dulquer Salmaan and the extremely talented Meenakshi Choudhary were seen with host Rana Daggubati. Heart-touching moments, laughter and many interesting stories were shared in this episode.

During a candid conversation, Dulquer recalled his first meeting with Rana and said, when I was in ninth class, you might have been in eighth. On this Rana said jokingly, No, I would have failed for two years, I was probably in sixth class! During the episode, the unique synergy of their old friendship is visible. Dulquer also told that when Rana Daggubati visited his house in Kochi during the shooting of 'Veeratha Parvam', he met his mother. He said, this was the first time he came to our house and met my mother. My mother loved them! Rana ate a lot and my mother likes children who eat well. They had an instant connection.

The conversation turned to his career choices, where Dulquer praised Rana's debut film 'Leader', saying it was a brave and unique choice for a debut film. He further said, I have always admired that Rana does not run after stardom but looks for interesting stories and memorable characters. In response, Rana Daggubati praised Dulquer's versatility and ability to choose different characters. He said, ever since Dulquer started his career, I knew he would do something special. His style of storytelling and the characters he played have left an indelible mark in Telugu cinema.

Both of them also talked openly about their special project 'Kant'. Discussing the challenges facing this film, Dulquer said, this film has been in the making for many years. We had countless discussions, disagreements and even fights, which was unusual for us. But no matter what, we always hugged and moved forward. Rana said, producing and acting in Kant was an unforgettable journey for us. This is a testament to our friendship and shared love for cinema.

Created, hosted and executive produced by Rana Daggubati under the banner Spirit Media, this unscripted Telugu original series will feature a stellar cast of guests. These include Dulquer Salmaan, Naga Chaitanya Akkineni, Sidhu Jonnalagadda, Srileela, Nani, S.S. Rajamouli, Ram Gopal Varma and many other stars. The sixth episode of 'The Rana Daggubati Show' is all set to stream on December 28.
