The trailer of the much-awaited film Ramayana: The Legend of Prince Rama has been released, which has created a wave of excitement among fans and cinema lovers. The film is a visual masterpiece based on the Hindu scripture Valmiki's Ramayana.
The trailer features stunning visuals and battle sequences that take the audience to Ayodhya, where Prince Ram was born, Mithila, where he married Sita, the forest of Panchavati, where Ram spent his exile with Sita and Lakshman, and Lanka, All the places where the historical battle between Lord Ram and Ravana took place have been shown. All this is beautifully presented in Japanese anime style.
Conceived by Yugo Sako and directed by Koichi Sasaki and Ram Mohan, this film is a special India-Japan joint project, in which more than 450 artists have used about one lakh hand-made cels. The result is a visual masterpiece that blends the essence of Japanese art with India's age-old storytelling traditions.
This film is going to be released in Indian theaters for the first time in 4K on 24 January 2025. It will be distributed theatrically through Geek Pictures India, AA Films and Excel Entertainment.
