It features an 11-inch 2.8K (1800×2880 pixels) IPS LCD display with a peak brightness of up to 550 nits, pixel density of 309 ppi, Dolby Vision support, and a refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. Xiaomi says the display supports up to seven refresh rates – 30 Hz, 48 Hz, 50 Hz, 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz, and 144 Hz. The tablet is powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It sports a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the front with a 105-degree field of view for selfies and video calling.

For powerful sound, the tablet has a quad speaker setup as well as Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options available on the tab include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and a USB Type-C port. It has sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and Hall sensor. The tab has an 8840mAh battery, which the company claims gives up to two days of battery life on a single charge. It supports 33W wired charging, which the company says can fully charge the tablet in 100 minutes.

Xiaomi Pad 7 price in India is Rs 27,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant and Rs 30,999 for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Its top variant has been introduced in Nano Texture Display Edition, which is priced at Rs 32,999. The new Tab comes in colors like Graphite Grey, Mirage Purple and Sage Green. The tablet will be available for purchase in the country from January 13 via Amazon, Xiaomi India e-store and Xiaomi's offline retail stores. ICICI Bank customers can avail a discount of Rs 1,000.
