Bajaj launches updated 2025 Bajaj Pulsar RS200 with its cool features, know the price and features
bike news desk,Bajaj Auto has finally launched the new and updated motorcycle in the Indian market. This is the first update in over a decade, and it's a relatively small one. There has been a slight increase in its price. This bike is available at a price of less than Rs 2 lakh. Interested customers can book the motorcycle online or at their nearest dealership. Its delivery is expected to start soon.
How is the look and design
There has been no major change in terms of design. From the front the motorcycle looks the same as before. It gets fully faired body panels with angular bodywork. It has a twin-pod LED headlamp setup with three dot DRL on top. However, it now gets new graphics everywhere. At the rear, the bike gets a revised tail section. It now has split bracket shaped integrated LED taillights. Each of which combines the pod, indicators and tail-lamp into a single unit. Overall, most of the design remains the same. However, it is now offered in three color options. Which include black, white and red colors.
Features
In terms of features, it gets the color LCD instrument cluster and new switchgear borrowed from the NS 400Z. It has Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and call/notification alerts.
Engine power and riding mode
No mechanical changes have been made in the new Pulsar RS200. It gets the same liquid-cooled, 199cc, single-cylinder engine. This engine generates power of 24.5 hp at 9,750 rpm and 18.7 Nm at 8,000 rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. For safety, it has dual-channel ABS. It also has three riding modes – off-road, road and rain.
Braking and suspension
The motorcycle has telescopic front forks and a mono-shock setup at the rear. This is somewhat disappointing, considering that the company's model in the same segment, the NS 200, is equipped with USD front forks. It has disc brakes at both ends along with dual-channel ABS. And it gets 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 110 and 170-section rubber.
