- 250 grams cheese
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 2 tbsp oil/ghee
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried coriander
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1/2 tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder (for colour)
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 cup whipped cream
- salt as per taste
- 1 tablespoon green coriander
- Dry roast cumin, whole coriander, black pepper and fenugreek seeds on low flame. Grind tomato, green chilli and ginger together and make a fine puree.
- Heat oil in a pan, add Kashmiri red chilli powder, stir once and immediately add tomato puree and fry till it thickens and oil separates.
- Now add roasted masala, salt and red chilli powder. Also add 1/2 teaspoon sugar.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes and then add whipped cream. Let it cook for 5 minutes.
- When it is roasted well and oil starts separating, add 1/4 cup hot water to it.
- Let the curry boil. When the curry becomes of desired consistency, add chopped paneer pieces to it and close the lid after some time. Add coriander leaves and serve.
