History of Bhangarh Fort –
This fort was built in the 17th century by Madho Singh for his younger son Mansingh. The unique thing about this place is that the houses here do not have roofs. It is said that this place was cursed by a sage. People also say that if you put your ears near the walls of the houses here, you will hear the voices of ghosts and spirits. Tourists are not allowed to stay in this fort after evening.

Story of Bhangarh Fort –
It is said that the land on which Bhangarh Fort stands belonged to a powerful ascetic named Guru Balunath. Before starting the construction of the fort, Madho Singh had sought the permission of the ascetic. He was given permission with one condition. The condition was that the shadow of the fort should never fall on the ascetic's house, otherwise a major accident could happen. However, his successor Ajab Singh ignored this condition and built the fort with strong walls. The shadow of these walls fell on the ascetic's house, which completely devastated the Bhangarh area.

How to reach Bhangarh Fort –
Generally to reach Bhangarh you have to go to Alwar. You can reach Alwar by bus or taxi from outside cities of Rajasthan. If you travel by NH 48, the distance from Delhi to Bhangarh Fort is 283.5 km. This means that it will take at least 6 hours to reach the destination. But if you are traveling from Jaipur, you will reach Bhangarh in 2 hours. The entry fee of Bhangarh Kilo is Rs 40 for Indian tourists and Rs 200 for foreign tourists.

Is Bhangarh Fort really haunted?
Actually Bhangarh Fort is not haunted. This is a very beautiful fort, which many tourists come to see. The haunted story associated with this place makes this place even more haunted. People say that these stories have been made to intrigue the tourists coming here. However, there are many banyan trees here, which makes one feel very scared after seeing this place. Bala Fort – It is also known as Alwar Fort. It was built by Hasan Khan Mewati in the 15th century. You can see the entire city from this fort situated on a 300 meter cliff. There are six entrances to this fort – Jai Pol, Chand Pol, Krishna Pol, Suraj Pol, Laxman Pol and Andheri Gate. The fort is open for tourists from 10 am to 5 pm.

Pearl Dungri – Pearl Dungri is very popular due to its specialty. Both Hindu and Muslim communities come to this place for prayers. The best thing is that there is not a single wall between the Veer Hanuman temple built here and the Syed Darbar. Here you can listen to bhajan in the morning and qawwali in the evening on loudspeaker.

City Palace – City Palace is also known as Vinay Vilas Palace. There are 15 grand and small towers built here. The museum here is also very beautiful, which every tourist should visit. The palace is open from 10 am to 4 pm.
