Lesson learned from mistake… Team India's special plan for England tour, BCCI is now taking strict action

Cricket News Desk. Saddened by the crushing defeats against New Zealand and Australia, the BCCI has decided to play three four-day practice matches in Britain before the Test match against England. The aim is for players to benefit from the experience of red-ball cricket. India's Test tour will begin with the first Test in Leeds on June 20.

When will the practice test match be held?
The dates and venues of the matches against England Lions have not been decided yet, but these matches will be played in Britain after the IPL final on May 25. The board believes the practice series is necessary to prepare India for its chances against England after the team lost 0-3 to New Zealand and 1-3 to Australia at home.

This match was also organized before the tour of Australia.
“We had done a similar 'A' tour of Australia before the Border-Gavaskar Trophy,” a BCCI source said on condition of anonymity. These matches will help the players to adjust to the conditions in England and they will also get a chance to play red ball cricket after some time. Some of the key Indian players like Rishabh Pant, Shubman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal are preparing for the Ranji Trophy matches which are scheduled to resume from January 23.

Will Rohit and Virat play in Ranji Trophy?
However, some of those players will be able to play only one of the remaining two rounds of the Ranji Trophy as the limited overs series against England begins on January 22 in Kolkata. After the disappointing performance of star players like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in Australia, the focus is now on the presence of star Indian batsmen in domestic cricket.
