Material
Black gram – 200 grams
Peeled Moong Dal – 200 grams
Ghee- as per need
Salt- as per taste
Ginger- one piece
Garlic- 5 to 6 cloves
Green chillies 3 to 4
Chopped onion- 1
Chopped capsicum – 1
Chopped Carrot- 1
Chopped Tomato- 1
Black pepper- 1 tsp
Gram flour- 2 tbsp
Method of preparation
1. First of all, mix black gram and moong dal and soak it overnight.
2. After this, take it out in the morning and filter the water through a muslin cloth.
3. Now wrap the balls in this cloth and leave them to germinate for 12 hours.
4. After sprouting, take it out and add ginger, garlic and green chillies in the mixer and grind it.
5. Now take out the paste in a bowl.
6. After this add capsicum, carrot, onion, tomato, gram flour, black pepper and salt and mix well.
7. Heat the pan on gas and apply ghee on it.
8. Now fry the prepared mixture in the form of small chilas till it turns light brown.
9. Now your cheela is ready, you can eat it with red or green chutney.
