Former captains of Mumbai cricket team were honored on the occasion of their 50th anniversary. Young opener Prithvi Shaw also participated in the 50th anniversary of Wankhede Stadium.
During this, Prithvi shared his old memories related to Wankhede Stadium and told when he had come to this historic stadium for the first time. Prithvi told that he had come to this stadium for the first time to watch the final match of the 2011 World Cup. The final match was played between India and Sri Lanka. In this final, Team India became champion under the captaincy of Dhoni.

Arjun Tendulkar shared his memories related to Wankhede Stadium and said that he had come here for the first time with Arjun Tendulkar. Arjun Tendulkar's father Sachin Tendulkar was also in the playing eleven in the 2011 World Cup final. Prithvi said, 'I will never forget my first memory related to this stadium.' When I came here to watch the World Cup final, I was only 11 years old. Arjun and I sat together and watched the live telecast of the final match. I will never forget the moment when Team India lifted the trophy.
He said, 'In my childhood, I always thought that I wish I get a chance to play at Wankhede Stadium one day and now look, we are celebrating the 50th anniversary of this stadium.'
