Although the film 'Emergency' did not get a very good response, but after Corona, it has become Kangana Ranaut's highest opening Hindi film. His previous film 'Tejas' had done a business of Rs 1.25 crore on the first day. But 'Emergency' has earned more than this film. According to Sanilak report, 'Emergency' has collected Rs 2.35 crore in the country on the opening day. This is the biggest opening Kangana has got in the last 5 years. Kangana's previous film 'Tejas' had earned Rs 1.25 crore on the opening day in 2023.

Controversy has been going on ever since the trailer of Kangana Ranaut's film 'Emergency' was released. Now this film has been banned in Bangladesh. There is a demand to ban this film in Punjab also. Congress has also expressed objection to the story of this film. Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee is also opposing this.———
