People going from Bihar to take bath in Mahakumbh should keep in mind that they must carry a sheet or blanket with them. Because, if your return journey is for the next day then it will be difficult to spend the night. It is very cold and spending the night under the open sky can make you feel uncomfortable. Wear extra clothes so that you do not feel too cold at night. Also carry clothes with you, because after bathing you will have to change your clothes. Keep your family members and children together and keep an eye on them, as they can get lost in the crowd.
If you don't want to spend much, you can take food and drinks with you. Food will not spoil due to cold and you will not need to buy it and eat it. Try to book a return train on the same day. You reach Prayagraj at 7 or 8 in the morning, roam around throughout the day and return to your city at night. By doing this you will not have to spend the night under the open sky. Special trains are being run to reach Mahakumbh. So you can get the train. Keep in mind that you will not get rickshaws to reach the ghat, so you will have to walk several kilometers. In such a situation, it is becoming difficult to take many elderly people along. If you plan a trip for just 1 day, you can travel with the entire family for just Rs 10,000. Because you will not book a tent to stay here and there is no rickshaw to reach here, so you will have to travel on foot.
