The wait is over, the old cave of Mata Vaishno Devi has opened, go immediately and have darshan, you will not get a chance later.
Travel News Desk,Every year thousands and lakhs of people come to visit the Mata Vaishno Devi temple situated on the Trikuta hills of Jammu and Kashmir. Devotees do not care how hot it is in which month and how cold it is in which month. When Mother's call comes, the devotees set out chanting 'Jai Kara'. And for the devotees who reach Vaishno Devi at the time of the old cave, the journey is no less than luck for them. Perhaps this time's darshan can also be lucky. Yes, the natural cave of Mata Vaishno Devi i.e. the old cave has been reopened. The cave was reopened on Tuesday, the day of Makar Sankranti. Officials said that after special worship, the old cave has once again been opened for the devotees. Let us tell you, when and at what time you can have darshan here.
When and what time does the cave open?
The natural cave inside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple is usually opened only during the winter months, during which the crowd of devotees is less. Many devotees are eager to visit the temple through the natural cave and this view is seen only during this time. This cave remains closed for most of the year due to security reasons.
The ancient cave remains open for so long
Let us tell you, very few people get the privilege of visiting Mata's court through the ancient cave. The doors of this ancient cave are opened when there are less than 10 thousand devotees. Usually this is seen in the months of December, January and February. Sometimes the cave is opened even in the month of March, before Holi.
Permission for darshan will be given only after seeing the crowd of devotees.
In view of the crowd of devotees, the natural cave has been opened from January 14. Let us tell you that pilgrims will be allowed to reach the cave only when their number is less than 10,000, so that everything remains fine in the cave and the devotees can also have darshan easily.
The cave will remain open till this time
The famous old cave of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Tirtha in Jammu and Kashmir will be opened for darshan for about 12 hours a day. Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB) said the old cave will be open for darshan from 10 am to 4 pm during the day and from 10:30 pm to 5 am at night.
So far so many devotees have visited
According to officials, more than 1.50 lakh devotees have visited Vaishno Devi since the beginning of the new year. Last year, 94.83 lakh pilgrims had visited the holy pilgrimage site, the second highest number ever.
