This is made possible thanks to Apple's Live Caller ID Lookup Framework, which is developed specifically for apps like Truecaller to provide live caller ID while maintaining privacy. This API uses state-of-the-art homomorphic encryption, and Truecaller is the first platform in the world to implement it at scale for caller ID.

Powerful Truecaller experience: now on iPhone
Truecaller has been working for over 15 years to filter unwanted communications. This update takes advantage of Truecaller's latest AI capabilities and global database to identify more calls than ever before. Any call on iOS can be identified based on the information available with Truecaller.

Additionally, this new update also includes a feature that Truecaller iOS users have been asking for for a long time: they will now get the ability to automatically block spam calls. Other improvements also include the ability to search for previously identified calls, going back up to the last 2,000 numbers in the recent list in the Phone app. Finally, Truecaller on iPhone now also includes the option to subscribe to the Premium Family Plan. With the Family Plan, you can share all the benefits of Truecaller Premium with up to four people for a very low monthly or annual price.

How to Enable Truecaller on iOS 18.2
1. Make sure your iPhone has Truecaller version 14.0 or above.
2. Open iPhone Settings, App Phone Call Blocking & Identification.
3. Here, enable all Truecaller switches and open the Truecaller app again.
