Threat to three big artists of Mumbai, e-mail came from Pakistan
Mumbai, January 22 (IANS). Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D'Souza and singer Sugandha Mishra have received threatening e-mails. This threat has been sent from Pakistan. After this the concerned artists lodged a complaint with the police.
A case has been registered against an unknown person at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai and investigation has been started.
It is written in this threatening e-mail that we are monitoring you and it is important that we inform you about a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. We urge you to take this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality. If you do not pay attention to this, it can have serious consequences, which can impact your professional and personal life.
The e-mail further read that we expect a prompt response from you within the next 8 hours, otherwise we will assume that you are not taking the matter seriously and we will take necessary action. Vishnu is written at the end of the e-mail.
After registering the complaint, the police has started investigating the matter. Police said that this threat has been sent from Pakistan. After the threatening e-mails sent to the artists, their fans and family members are also worried.
