Ingredients to make Walnut Chutney
To make delicious and healthy walnut chutney, the ingredients you will need are – walnut kernels (one cup, about 100 grams), one onion, green chilli, garlic (10 to 12 cloves), ginger, green coriander. , mint, cumin (one spoon), four to five whole black peppers, one spoon Kashmiri red chilli, coriander powder (one spoon), garam masala (one spoon), curd (one fourth cup), salt (as per taste) and water.

To make walnut chutney, first soak the walnut kernels in lukewarm water overnight. If you want, you can make walnut chutney without soaking it. Actually, walnut is hot in nature, hence it is advisable to soak it. Now add walnuts, green chillies, thickly chopped onions, garlic cloves, a small piece of ginger, fresh coriander, mint leaves, whole cumin seeds, whole black pepper and very little water in a mixer. Grind these vegetables in a mixer and make a thick paste.

Now take out this thick walnut paste in a bowl. Add Kashmiri red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala and salt to it. Mix all these together well. Now comes the turn to add curd to it. Take out as much chutney as you want to use immediately and add curd to it as per your requirement. If you like thick chutney then add less curd, whereas if you like thin chutney then you can add more curd. If you do not like to eat curd, then you can get the same taste by using water and lemon or dry mango powder. You can enjoy this delicious chutney with roti, paratha and dal rice.
