-200 grams mawa
-1 cup milk
-100 grams sugar
-2 teaspoon ghee
-2 teaspoons chopped nuts (pistachios, almonds)
– ½ tsp cardamom powder
-2 colors food color (saffron and green)
How to make Tricolor Peda
To make Tricolor Peda, first put mawa in a pan and fry it lightly on low flame. When the mawa starts drying slightly, add milk to it and let the milk and mawa cook well. After this, add sugar to the mawa and mix well. Continue cooking until the sugar dissolves completely in milk. Take special care that the mixture should not be thick and sticky, keep it slightly wet. Now divide the mawa mixture into three parts. Place saffron color in one bowl, green color in the other and empty dry fruits in the third. Mix these three colors well and prepare different mixtures for each color. Now apply a little ghee on your palm and prepare small pedas made from the mixture of all the three colours.
