Dhurandhar: Ranveer Singh’s action film ticket prices

Mumbai: Bollywood’s energy bomb Ranveer Singh’s new action film ‘Dhurandhar’ has become the center of discussion even before its release. There are still four days left for the release of the film, but its ticket prices have shocked everyone. The price of the most expensive seat in premium theaters of Delhi, Noida, Gurugram and Mumbai has reached Rs 2400. This is a new record in itself.

In advance booking which started from Monday, till now more than 70 thousand tickets have been sold in major multiplex chains across the country like PVR, INOX and Cinepolis. Most of the major shows of the weekend are heading towards housefull, especially in Delhi-NCR and Mumbai, seats are being sold out fast on IMAX and 4DX screens.

‘Dhurandhar’ tickets broke all records

According to trade analysts, the first day collection may cross Rs 20 crore, provided the word of mouth remains strong. ‘Dhurandhar’, directed by Aditya Dhar, is being considered as Ranveer’s most ambitious film till date. The spectacular action sequences, powerful dialogues and high-octane chase scenes shown in the trailer have created immense excitement among the audience.

Most expensive tickets available in Delhi and Mumbai

Along with Ranveer, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Pooja Hegde and Akshaye Khanna also star in important roles in this film. However, some trade experts believe that the initial booking of 70 thousand tickets is slightly less than expected. The reason for this is the extremely high ticket prices. Common visitors are hesitant in taking seats even for Rs 800-1200, due to which booking in mass centers is slow. But the record rates set by the film in the premium format can become a new benchmark for other big films in the future.
