Sand art show organized
On the occasion of Veer Bal Diwas, a sand art show was organized at the historical land of Panipat. In this show, the martyrdom of four Sahibzadas of Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji was presented in a unique way. This 40-minute show depicted the atrocities of the Mughals and the bravery of the Sahibzadas. This program was organized by the Art and Cultural Affairs Department of Haryana.

This sand art show was inaugurated by District Education Officer Rakesh Bura in the auditorium of Arya College. In the show, artist Om Prakash depicted the story of the birth of Sahibzadas and the invasion of Mughals after the establishment of Khalsa Panth. He told that Guru Gobind Singh Ji left Anandpur Sahib Fort with his family and prepared for war.
Gold coins and arrest
Artist Om Prakash told that Gangu, out of greed, gave information about Sahibzadas to Wazir Khan, in return for which he got gold coins. Wazir Khan’s soldiers arrested Mata Gujri and Sahibzadas and kept them in the cold tower.

In the cold, both the Sahibzadas were presented before Wazir Khan, where they were asked to accept Islam. The Sahibzadas cheered without any fear, which left everyone astonished.

In the sand art show, Wazir Khan tried to scare the Sahibzadas and convince them to accept Islam, but they remained firm on their decision. Eventually he was ordered to choose within the walls, and he started reciting ‘Japuji Sahib’.

The martyrdom of Sahibzadas in the battle of Chamkaur Sahib was also depicted in the show. Everyone appreciated this program. On this occasion, many children participated in the essay writing competition on Veer Bal Diwas.
