Easy recipe to make Rasgulla and Chamcham without any adulteration

Simple Rasgulla Recipe

Enjoy Rasgullas: You might have eaten many types of Rasgullas in the market, but now the time has come to make Rasgullas at home without any adulteration. Let us know how to make them.

For this recipe you will need:

  • 2 kg sugar, 2 teaspoons ghee, 3 kg cottage cheese, 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, 2 kg fine sugar, 4 teaspoons all-purpose flour, 4 teaspoons semolina, and a few drops of rose extract.

First of all, make sugar syrup in a pan by mixing sugar and water. Cook it for 20 to 30 minutes until it thickens. Then cool it. Mix cottage cheese, ghee, semolina, ground cardamom and flour in a vessel and smoothen it. Make one and a half inch balls from this mixture. After 10 minutes add rose extract and cool. Now your Rasgullas are ready.

Method to make Chamcham

To make Chamcham you need:

  • 1 kg sugar, 3 teaspoons semolina, 500 grams paneer, 4 teaspoons ghee, 1 teaspoon ground cardamom, 1.5 liters of water, ¼ teaspoon baking powder, 100 grams khoya, and 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour.

Mix sugar and water in a vessel and boil it. When the syrup becomes thick, take it off. Mix cottage cheese, ghee, semolina, flour, baking powder and ground cardamom and smoothen it. Make 2 inch flat shaped Chamchams from this mixture. Put them in syrup and boil on low flame for 50 minutes. Then take them out, fry the khoya and cool it. Let the Chamcham soak in the juice for a day. Next day, take out the juice and sprinkle khoya powder. Now your Chamchams are ready.
