Method of making millet khichdi

Health Corner: Bajra Khichdi is an excellent option to stay healthy. It is rich in nutrients like protein, fiber, moisture, calcium, iron, and phosphorus. Let us know how to make it:

Material:
200 grams of millet, 150 grams of moong dal, 2 tablespoons of desi ghee, a pinch of asafoetida, half a teaspoon of cumin, some chopped green chillies, half a teaspoon of turmeric, a bowl of green peas, and salt as per taste.

Bajra Khichdi: A great option for health

Method:
First clean the millet thoroughly and remove its husk. Then heat ghee in the cooker, add asafoetida and cumin seeds in it. After this add green chilli, turmeric and peas and fry for two minutes. Now add lentils and cleaned millet to it. Keep stirring for 2-3 minutes, then add four times the amount of water as the millet and dal. Switch off the cooker after one or two whistles. Garnish with green coriander and serve hot.
