The Archaeological Department has increased the prices of entry tickets to the main places of Jaipur from January 1, 2026. Now tourists will have to pay ₹200 instead of ₹100 for entry into Pink City’s most special tourist attraction, Amer Fort. Similarly, for entry into Albert Hall, Nahargarh Fort, Jantar Mantar and Hawa Mahal, now you will have to pay ₹100 instead of ₹50. Two day combo ticket will now be available for ₹550.
Apart from common tourists, entry fees have also been increased for students and foreign tourists. The ticket prices for students have more than doubled. Earlier, students used to pay ₹22 for entry into Amer Fort, but now they will have to pay ₹50. The Archaeological Department claims that the ticket prices have been increased after 10 years. However, tourists are unhappy with this decision, and tourist guides associated with these main places are also upset.
Tourists say that these main places of Jaipur are a treasure trove of history and heritage. As the number of visitors increases, more people will be able to know about them.
