Mumbai: The teaser of famous South actor Yash’s new film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’ has come into controversy as soon as it was released. An intimate scene in this teaser has created a stir on social media and administrative circles. The controversy increased so much that the actress working in the film had to delete her social media account.
Model Beatriz Taufenbach’s social media account removed
In the teaser, an intimate scene has been filmed between Yash and the model in a car near the cemetery, which is fast going viral. This scene includes Brazilian model and actress Beatriz Taufenbach. After the release of the teaser on January 8, Behatriz’s Google searches increased and she faced nasty comments on social media. Fed up with this online trolling, he has deleted his Instagram account, due to which his profile is no longer available. Earlier people thought that this actress was Natalie Byrne, but the film’s director Geetu Mohandas cleared this confusion by sharing the picture of Behatriz.
Political protests and complaints
Political protest has also started against this scene of the film. The women’s wing of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has filed a complaint against the film with the Karnataka State Women Commission. The party has termed this scene as obscene and objectionable and said that these scenes insult Kannada culture. The organization has demanded that this teaser should be immediately removed from social media and it should be banned.
Censor Board’s clarification
As the controversy escalated, the Censor Board’s side also came to the fore. According to media reports, CBFC sources have clarified that the teaser has been released only on digital platforms, which does not require prior approval of the censor board. The board says that at present the producers have not applied for certification for any content related to the film.

Amidst all these controversies, this much-awaited film of Yash will be released in theaters on March 19. It is likely to compete with ‘Dhurandhar 2’ at the box office. Apart from Yash, Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi and Rukmani Vasant will also be seen in important roles in this film directed by Geetu Mohandas.
