Sunny said, ‘I have many films coming up, one of which is ‘Lahore 1947’… Its name may change, or maybe it may remain the same. The film is based on a famous play and will be released around August 15. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and produced by Aamir Khan. It is a historical drama set during the partition of 1947, which is based on Asghar Wajahat’s famous play ‘Jis Lahore Nayi Dekhya O Jamyai Nayi’.
Karan Deol will also act in the film
According to reports, Santoshi had earlier narrated this story to Anil Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt, but things did not work out. Now he is working with Sunny Deol, with whom he is very happy. Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol will also be seen in this film. Apart from this, actors like Preity Zinta, Shabana Azmi, Ali Fazal and Abhimanyu Singh are also a part of this film.
