Famous Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has expressed deep sorrow over the incident of collapse of the slab of the bridge of Metro Rail Line-4 under construction in Mulund area of ​​Mumbai. He termed the incident as “heartbreaking” and appealed to the authorities to hold them accountable and prioritize safety standards.

Hrithik shared a video on his Instagram story regarding this tragic incident, in which a glimpse of the incident site was shown. Along with this he also wrote a detailed note. He said, “This is a heart-wrenching and tragic accident. My condolences to the families of the deceased and prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured. I appreciate the prompt action taken by the authorities, but safety checks and prevention of such incidents should be a priority.”

Details of the accident

A serious accident occurred during the construction of Metro Line-4 (Wadala-Kasarvadwali route) in Mulund, Mumbai on Saturday. A portion of the under-construction bridge suddenly fell on vehicles passing below, killing one person and seriously injuring three others. The injured are being treated in the hospital.

Hrithik further said, “The safety of people engaged in construction work and the general public is of utmost importance. I hope that strict action will be taken so that such incidents are not repeated in future.”
