Rajpal Yadav’s release and emotional message
Mumbai: Rajpal Yadav has now come out of Tihar Jail and has demanded work from the film industry. After 12-13 days of imprisonment in the Rs 9 crore check bounce case, he got interim bail from the Delhi High Court, after which he left the jail on 17 February 2026. This relief has been given for the marriage of his niece and it will remain valid till March 18, 2026. After the release, Rajpal expressed his gratitude to his fans, Bollywood and the entire country while talking to the media.

Rajpal Yadav said, ‘Thank you all for your support. From children to elders, people of all ages loved me. I have received so much love in my journey in Indian cinema that I am deeply grateful. He also thanked everyone who supported him on social media and even the critics, because it was only with their prayers and blessings that he moved forward.
Jail experiences and future plans
Rajpal told that in 2027 he will complete 30 years in Bollywood and he has done 200-250 films, all of which was possible due to the love of the people of the country. Talking about his jail experience, he said that Tihar jail is well managed and the food there was also good. He also shared some things about his daily routine, but the main focus was on support and life ahead.

Rajpal said, ‘Those who have helped me earlier, should help me once again. Give me good characters. The character is of my choice and the money is of their choice. Whatever fee is decided is acceptable. This statement shows that despite economic difficulties, Rajpal wants to support himself by working. He also talked about answering the allegations and said that this case, which has been going on since 2012, has come up in 2026, but he is ready to cooperate at every step. This case is related to the film ‘Aata Pata Lapata’ released in 2012, where Rajpal had taken a loan from the producer, but could not return the money when the film flopped and the amount increased with interest.
