Falak Khan’s Casting Couch Experience: Actress Falak Khan, who is currently seen in the show ‘Sehar Hone Ko Hai’, has shared a sad experience during her struggling days. In a recent interview, he told how he once faced casting couch during an audition. This incident shook his confidence and left him in deep emotional shock.
In a conversation with E-Times, Falak revealed that she went into the audition with big dreams and complete preparation. She had rehearsed her lines well and had been waiting for this opportunity for a long time.
Falak recalled, “But instead of discussing the script, the guy sitting there said to me, ‘I want to kiss you.’ At that moment I was completely shocked. I didn’t know whether I should shout or just walk away.”
He further said that at first he tried to convince himself that it could be a bad joke. “But looking at his face I realized he was serious. That’s what scared me the most.”
According to Falak, not only his words but also the manner in which he said them hurt him deeply. “He acted as if it was normal for a girl to ask for a kiss like that. That’s what hurt me the most.”
Gathering courage, she walked out of the room. But its effect remained on him. “When I got home, I cried a lot. For a whole week, I was shaking. I kept thinking—what if he had actually tried to do something to me? His words made me doubt myself, my talent, and even my intentions of being in this industry.”
Falak also revealed that after this incident, she could not go for auditions for several days. “I started to question whether this industry was even made for me. Later, I realized that someone else’s bad behavior could never define my worth.”
The actress clarified that she is sharing this incident not to get sympathy, but to spread awareness. She has a strong message for struggling artists: “You can turn down a project. You can say no. But never compromise your self-respect for any opportunity.”
