Metro and Namo Bharat train inaugurated in Meerut
Meerut. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated Meerut Metro and Namo Bharat Train at Namo Bharat Station in Shatabdi Nagar. On this occasion, he traveled by metro till Meerut South station. In his address, PM Modi said that today the Namo Bharat Rapid Rail and Metro service is being launched on the same day, which is a wonderful example of the connectivity of developed India. This metro will ease travel within the city and modern trains like Namo Bharat will be helpful in the development of the twin city. I am proud that this work has been done in Uttar Pradesh.
PM Modi further said that earlier there used to be silence here as soon as the evening came and there was an atmosphere of fear. Now law and order has improved and people have got the means of safe travel. Namo Bharat Rapid Rail is also a symbol of women power, as it employs a majority of train operators and station control staff consisting of women.
He said that India now ranks third in the world in terms of metro network. Apart from Meerut in UP, metro work is also going on in many other cities. In the last 11 years, Metro has reached many cities of the country because the BJP government wants to provide facilities to the public. During the time of Congress and SP, such projects used to get entangled in scams. We stopped scams and moved the country towards self-reliance. BJP’s priority is the development of the country and prosperity of the citizens.
PM Modi said that the stations of Sarai Kalekhan, Anand Vihar, Ghaziabad and Meerut have been connected. This is the first time that Namo Bharat and Metro Rail will run at the same station. With this, passengers will be able to travel within the city and directly to Delhi from a single platform. Today, developed countries are eager to make trade agreements with India because they see their future in India’s development.
He said that Meerut, Hapur and surrounding areas have seen the vision of Chaudhary Charan Singh ji. Our government is proud that we gave him Bharat Ratna. The double engine government of BJP is continuously making efforts to increase the income of farmers. Till now, farmers of UP have received approximately Rs 95 thousand crore under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
While on one hand the countrymen are working hard to make India developed, on the other hand some political parties are not able to digest its success. Recently AI Impact Summit was organized in India, in which representatives from more than 80 countries participated. Congress made this global event an arena for its politics. Congress leaders reached the venue of the function by removing their clothes in front of the foreign guests. I ask Congress that when you are already naked, what was the need to take off your clothes?
PM said that AI Global Summit was not a program of BJP, but of the country. Congress has broken all limits in this program, and today their policy is being criticized all over the country.
