Bhangra Class Celebration
Jalandhar: Three successful years of Bhangra classes were celebrated at the city’s Gymkhana Club. On this occasion, a special program was organized in the club premises, in which a live glimpse of Punjabi culture and tradition was seen.
Bhangra instructor Manan Soulja performed brilliantly on Punjabi songs and traditional dialects, which filled the atmosphere with enthusiasm. The members enjoyed Bhangra dance to the beat of drums. On this occasion, three years of success was celebrated by cutting a cake.
On behalf of the club management, Surabh Khullar, Vipin Jhanjhi, Shalini Joshi, Mahinder Singh, Harpreet Goldy, Shalani Kalra and Poonam Bahl also actively participated in Bhangra. The members expressed gratitude to Honorary Secretary Sandeep Bahl and his team for starting Bhangra class to promote Punjabi culture in the club.
On this occasion, Rajan Gupta, Harpreet Walia, Dr. Vijay Oberoi, Tarun Malhotra, Dr. JP Singh, Dr. Davinder Singh Lal, Nisha Bajaj, Neetu, Dr. Raman, Parveen Kheda, Amanpreet Kaur, Roopneet Singh, Armin Kochhar, Prof. A large number of members including Omkar Singh Johal, Jyoti Arora, Pooja Kumara, Sakshi Shingari, former secretary Tarun Sikka, Vanita Dhami, Nikhil Madhyani, Gulshan Dhingra, Tapan Sharma, Manish Gupta, Raghav Gupta, Monica Vij, Akshipita Sethi, Muskaan, Nidhi, Kavita Dhingra and Priyanka Mago were present. At the end of the program everyone resolved to carry forward Punjabi culture with the same enthusiasm in the future also.
