Unique wedding pictures go viral
Mumbai: The marriage of South Film Industry’s famous couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda has now become a topic of discussion. The couple got married in a traditional and private ceremony in Udaipur on 26 February 2026. Only family and close friends attended the ceremony, and photos of the wedding spread quickly on social media. Recently the wedding decor team has shared some unseen pictures, in which Rashmika is seen arriving in a palanquin. Fans are praising her by calling her ‘the most beautiful bride’.

In the pictures shared on Wedmegood’s Instagram account, Rashmika is seen smiling sitting in a palanquin. He has made a heart sign with his hands, which looks very cute and happy. The palanquin is traditionally decorated, symbolizing the carrying of the bride from her ancestral home to her in-laws’ home, and is a common custom in South Asian weddings.

The beauty of the wedding venue is clearly visible in other photos. The mandap was decorated with earthy terracotta colours, vintage brass décor and fresh flower arrangements. The initials ‘VR’ (Vijay-Rashmika) were designed in a special way. The caption read, ‘When heritage meets a modern-day fairy tale. Blessings with Sanskrit verses, earthy terracotta tones and brass details… everything feels like a warm embrace. It is not just a pavilion, it is a mood.
Vijay’s royal look
The theme of the wedding was ‘Periodic Era’, which was true to its roots and was simple yet authentic. Rashmika wore a traditional red or rust saree with temple-house motifs and gold jewellery. Vijay adopted a royal look with an off-white dhoti-kurta and red shawl. Both of them wrote emotional messages while sharing pictures on Instagram.

Rashmika wrote, ‘Now let me introduce you to my ‘husband’ – Mr. Vijay Deverakonda!! The person who taught me the meaning of true love and made me feel at peace. He always said it was okay to dream big and I could achieve a lot.
Confluence of Telugu Hindu and Kodava Culture
Vijay also talked about making Rashmika his best friend’s wife and said that everything looks better with her. The wedding took place at ITC Mementos, a luxury resort in Udaipur, where two ceremonies were held – one as per Telugu Hindu tradition and the other as per Kodava culture. The pictures are so beautiful that fans are describing them as Shiva-Parvati.
These posts have received millions of likes and have become one of the most liked wedding photos in India. After the wedding, the two were seen at Udaipur airport, where they gave flying kisses to the paparazzi. Now a grand reception will be organized in Hyderabad on March 4. This love story of ‘Virosh’ is being liked very much by the fans.
