The album is their fifth studio release and marks their comeback in over three years. BTS’s official handle, bts.bighitofficial, shared photos of all the songs, including their titles and production details, sparking a discussion among fans.

The caption read, “BTS ‘ARIRANG’ TRACKLIST.” The album is scheduled to be released globally on March 20, 2026. As soon as this announcement was made, the BTS ARMY immediately reacted and expressed their excitement in the comments section. One user wrote, “I’m so excited for this album (sic).” Another said, “ALBUM OF THE CENTURY.”

Lead Single: The lead song of the album will be ‘SWIM’, which is depicted as a metaphor for moving through the waves of life.
Veteran Producers: Global stars like Diplo, Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), Kevin Parker (Tame Impala) and Mike WiLL Made-It have contributed to this album.
Contribution of members: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—all members have played an active role in the writing and composition of the songs.
Release date and special events
Album Release: ‘Arirang’ will release on March 20, 2026 at 1:00 pm KST / 9:30 pm IST.
Netflix Live Show: The day after the release, on March 21, ‘BTS The Comeback Live | ‘Arirang’ will be streamed globally live on Netflix.
Documentary: A documentary named ‘BTS: The Return’ will also be released on Netflix on March 27, which will show the story of their reunion.
BTS World Tour 2026: Echo of ‘Arirang’
BTS has announced their biggest world tour, which will start in 2026 and run till 2027.
beginning: From the Goyang Sports Complex near Seoul on April 9, 11 and 12, 2026.
Expansion: The tour will cover 34 territories on 5 continents, with a total of over 79 shows.
For Indian fans: Although the India dates have not been officially confirmed yet, but according to reports there are plans to add new cities to the Asia leg this time.
