Whenever the name of Dubai is mentioned, the grand buildings there come to mind. Along with the fame of Burj Khalifa, the delicious cuisine of Dubai is also popular among the people. One of these special sweets is Kunafa, which is known all over the world for its amazing taste. Its sweet syrup and pistachio decoration makes it even more special. Recipe to make Dubai’s special Kunafa

– First of all, prepare the syrup by mixing sugar and water in a pan.

– Now add cardamom and rose water to it.

– In a big vessel, break fine vermicelli with hands and cut it into small pieces.

– Add melted butter to it and mix well.

Now grease a heavy-bottomed non-stick pan with butter.

Then put half the vermicelli in it, spread it well and press it to make an even layer. Place grated mozzarella cheese and a thick layer of cream on top of it.

Now cover the top layer completely with the remaining vermicelli and press lightly.


Bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30-35 minutes. If cooking on gas, keep the pan on low flame.

– When one side becomes golden, turn it and cook until the other side also becomes crisp.

– When Kunafa is ready, take it out.

– Pour cold syrup over hot Kunafa.

– Vermicelli will absorb the syrup well.

– Finally, add finely chopped pistachios on top.
