Mumbai: Gujarati film ‘Lalo – Krishna Sada Sahayate’ is now available on OTT platform. This religious drama film was made with a budget of only Rs 50 lakh, but it became a resounding success in the theatre. It is now streaming on SonyLIV, where viewers can watch it in both Gujarati and Hindi languages. The story of the film revolves around Lalo, a troubled rickshaw puller who gets trapped in a remote farmhouse, where his past and regrets come back to haunt him.

Inspired by the teachings of Lord Krishna, Lalo sets out on a spiritual journey, where he finds freedom from sins and the path to self-purification. The story by writers Krushansh Vaja, Vicky Purnima and Ankit Sakhiya is impressive. Riva Rachch, Shruhad Goswami, Karan Joshi and other actors have given excellent performances in the lead roles.

According to several reports, the net collection in India reached around Rs 97 crore, while the worldwide gross stood at more than Rs 122 crore. It had a slow start, but through word of mouth it became a blockbuster.

The film has received an excellent rating of 8.6/10 on IMDb, where more than 2 thousand users have rated it. The audience is calling it emotional, inspirational and full of devotion. SonyLIV has started streaming it from today i.e. 6th March 2026. Sharing the trailer, the platform wrote, “From Madhav to Muralidhar, Laalo’s every name sings devotionally.
