New Delhi: Important information has come to light for the devotees for Chardham Yatra 2026. The Uttarakhand government has started the registration process for this year’s yatra. Devotees can now easily register themselves through the official mobile app.

The registration process has started on March 6 at 7 am. Devotees who are planning to go on the yatra can now register for their yatra through online mode.

How to register online for Chardham Yatra?

Devotees can register online for Chardham Yatra. For this, the official tourism portal or mobile app of Uttarakhand government will have to be used.

• Create an account with your mobile number
• Fill all required information

• Keep the registration slip with you during the journey

When will offline registration start?

Arrangements for offline registration have also been made for those devotees who do not want to register online. According to official information, this process will begin from April 17, which will be two days before the commencement of the Yatra.

Registration counters will be set up at various places in the state, where devotees can get themselves registered.

Opening dates of Chardham temples 2026

During the Chardham Yatra, the doors of the four major Dhams will open on different dates:

• Gangotri Temple – 19 April
• Yamunotri Temple – 19 April
• Kedarnath Temple – 22 April
• Badrinath Temple – 23 April

Registration fee for Kedarnath Yatra

The Uttarakhand government has kept the registration process for Chardham Yatra completely free. Devotees will not have to pay any fee for registration.

For devotees who want to travel to Kedarnath Dham by helicopter, the one-way fare can be around Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000 per person. Booking of helicopters can be done through the respective operators.
