Sun’s temperature is rising: Know easy and effective ways to protect your skin from burning in summer.

With the beginning of March, the heat has started showing its effects. Rising temperatures and strong sunlight have the biggest impact on our skin. Hot winds and sun can make the skin tan, dry and lifeless. Therefore, proper skin care becomes very important in this season. Let us know what things you should keep in mind to keep your skin healthy and safe in summer.

How to take care of your skin in summer
Apply sunscreen daily: Apply sunscreen on your face 15-20 minutes before going outside. Even if you are not going out, don’t forget to apply sunscreen. Use sunscreen with SPF 50 or higher. If you sweat a lot or spend a lot of time in the sun, reapply sunscreen every 2-3 hours.

Avoid sunlight: To protect your skin in summer, it is important to avoid going out between 11 am and 4 pm. The sun is very strong at this time, which can cause damage to your skin. If you have to go out at this time, use an umbrella, sunglasses and cap.

Wear light and loose clothes: To avoid skin rashes in this season, wear clothes made of light fabric like cotton so that air can flow freely. Light colored clothes absorb less sunlight.

Keep your body hydrated: To keep your skin glowing naturally even in summer, drink plenty of water throughout the day. Apart from water, drink coconut water, buttermilk and fruit juices. Also, use aloe vera gel or rose water on your skin to cool it. Wash your face with cold water to remove dust and sweat.

Reduce makeup: Use less heavy creams, heavy makeup or oily products in summer. Gel-based moisturizers are best for your skin. Washing your face with cold water after coming out from outside can provide relief from sunburn.
