Xiaomi has today unveiled its new Android tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 8, in India. This tablet is equipped with Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chipset. It has an 11.2-inch 3.2K display, which offers a 144Hz refresh rate. Along with this, it is also equipped with a 9,200mAh battery. Additionally, it supports accessories like Xiaomi Focus Pen Pro and keyboard attachments.
The price of 8GB/128GB storage variant of Xiaomi Pad 8 is Rs 33,999, while the price of 12GB/256GB storage variant is Rs 36,999. The price of 12GB/256GB variant with Nano Texture display is Rs 38,999. The Creator Edition is priced at Rs 41,999 and the Nano Texture Creator Edition is priced at Rs 43,999. This tablet will be available in graphite gray and titanium blue colors. Its sale will start on March 17 at 12 noon IST on Amazon, Xiaomi’s website, and other retail stores. Under the launch offer, an instant discount of Rs 3,000 will be available on SEBI credit card EMI transactions and Rs 2,750 on full swipe.
This tablet features an 11.2-inch 3.2K display with a resolution of 3200×2136 pixels, a pixel density of 345ppi, and a peak brightness reaching 800 nits. It supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and DCI-P3 color gamut. The display has also received Low Blue Light, Flicker Free and Circadian Friendly certification by TUV Rhineland. Customers can choose between a standard glossy display and a Nano Texture version, designed to reduce glare and reflections.

Talking about the camera, Xiaomi Pad 8 has a 13-megapixel primary camera with F/2.2 aperture at the rear and an 8-megapixel selfie camera at the front. For connectivity, it includes Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth audio codecs like Miracast, LDAC and LHDC 5.0, and USB Type-C with USB 3.2 Gen 1 support. It also has many sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, flicker sensor, magnetic sensor, RGB LED and ambient light sensor. For security, the tablet also has an AI based face unlock feature. The Pad 8 packs a 9,200mAh battery, which supports 45W turbo charging. Its dimensions are 251.22 mm length, 173.42 mm width, 5.75 mm thickness and weight is 485 grams.
