New release date of the film ‘Dacait’
Mumbai Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur’s upcoming film ‘Dacait’ has got a new release date. Earlier the film was scheduled to hit the theaters on March 19, 2026, but now it will be released a few weeks later, i.e. on April 10, 2026. The manufacturers have officially announced this change. Sharing this update on his social media, Adivi Sesh wrote that ‘Goldfish’ will hit theaters across the world on April 10.
Adivi Sesh is in the lead role in this film and Mrunal Thakur is also with her. The project has created a lot of curiosity among the audience, as Sesh has also worked on the story and screenplay of the film. He usually chooses story-based projects and this time he has co-written it with Shenil Dev, who is also directing the film. ‘Dacait’ is being shot simultaneously in both Hindi and Telugu languages. Apart from Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur, Anurag Kashyap will also be seen in an important role in the film. Earlier the film was scheduled to release on March 19, but now it has been decided to postpone it, as big films like ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ and Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-ups’ were also to be released on the same day. However, ‘Toxic’ has now been postponed to June 2026, while Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ will release on the same day. Adivi Sesh was recently seen in ‘HIT: The Second Case’ directed by Shailesh Kolanu.
