650th Prakash Parv of Guru Ravidas Ji in Punjab
Chandigarh- Punjab Heritage and Tourism Promotion Board organized an important meeting to celebrate the 650th Prakash Purb of Saint Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji in a grand manner. The meeting was attended by revered saints, great men, spiritual gurus and scholars from various Deras, in which Aam Aadmi Party General Secretary Deepak Bali also participated and shared his suggestions.
Sant Nirmal Das ji, Sant Gurdeep Giri ji, Sant Mandeep Das ji, Sant Pradeep Das ji, Sant Keval ji, Sant Indradas ji, scholars Shri Rajkumar Hans ji, Soma Atri ji, Bibi Santosh Kaur and Parvinder Kaur Banga ji specially participated in the meeting. Director of Civil Code Department Sanjeev Tiwari was also present in this meeting.
Welcoming all the saints and great men, Deepak Bali said that the 650th Prakash Parv of Guru Ravidas Ji is not only a religious event, but it is also an opportunity to spread the message of social goodwill and equality. He said that the Punjab government is fully committed to celebrate this occasion with reverence and grandeur.
On this occasion, four huge processions will be organized, which will start from different places and pass through different cities and villages of Punjab. The first procession will be taken out from Banaras, the second from Bathinda, the third from Faridkot and the fourth from Jammu. Through these processions, efforts will be made to convey the messages of Guru Ravidas ji to every section of the society.
It was also decided in the meeting that on this special occasion, a documentary based on the life of Guru Ravidas Ji and his social contribution will be shown in every village of Punjab. This documentary will make the youth aware of the thoughts of Guru Ravidas Ji.
Deepak Bali said that using modern technology, a grand 20-minute drone show will be organized in every assembly, in which important events related to the life of Guru Ravidas Ji will be shown.
Apart from this, under environmental protection, a plantation campaign will be conducted in every district, in which a target has been set to plant 6.50 lakh saplings.
To increase awareness among the youth, a special cycle marathon will also be organized by 650 cyclists in every district. This marathon will spread awareness about the importance of equality in the society.
The saints and great men present in the meeting appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Government and expressed confidence that these programs will be successful and historic.
The saints also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who has set a budget of Rs 100 crore for the event.
At the end of the meeting all the saints and scholars were honored and it was resolved that the 650th Prakash Parv of Guru Ravidas Ji will be celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm throughout Punjab.
