drumstick leaves
The leaves of drumstick, also known as moringa, are considered a superfood. These contain more Vitamin C than oranges and more calcium than milk. Apart from this, it contains rich amount of iron. Consuming Moringa leaves in the form of greens, paranthas or soup is an effective way to increase hemoglobin.
Beetroot
This red vegetable is considered extremely beneficial for the health of blood. It contains rich amounts of iron, folic acid and potassium. Drinking a glass of beetroot juice daily or adding it to salad speeds up the process of formation of new red blood cells (RBC), which helps in removing anemia.
white sesame seeds
White sesame seeds contain good amount of iron. By consuming one spoon of white sesame seeds, the body gets iron and zinc. You can sprinkle it on salad, make laddus or eat it as chutney.
Pomegranate
Pomegranate is a nutrient-rich fruit, which contains good amounts of iron and vitamin C. According to experts, the body requires Vitamin C to absorb iron properly. Pomegranate contains both these nutrients together, hence it is considered a very beneficial fruit for increasing blood.
