New casting in the film ‘Ramayana’
Director Nitesh Tiwari’s epic film ‘Ramayana’ has become one of the most talked about projects of Indian cinema. The film stars big stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash, and now a new name has been added to it.
Recently, actor Faisal Malik, best known as Prahlad Cha in ‘Panchayat’, has confirmed his involvement in the film. He has also completed the schedule of his first shooting, which has further increased the curiosity of the audience.
Strong character of Faisal Malik
Faisal Malik has been chosen to play the role of Kumbhakarna, Ravana’s powerful brother in this film. Earlier there were reports that Bobby Deol could be cast for this role. If this news is true, then the audience will see him in a new avatar.
After playing an ordinary father in Panchayat, playing Kumbhakarna will be a big change for him. Although this casting has not been officially confirmed yet, it has created excitement among the fans.
Star-studded cast
Nitesh Tiwari has assembled many big names for this epic. Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will be seen as Sita. KGF star Yash will play the role of Ravana.
The cast includes Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravi Dubey as Laxman. Raghav Juyal has been cast to play the role of Meghnad, Ravana’s son, who will play an important role in the second half of the film.

The makers have planned to release ‘Ramayana’ in two parts. ‘Ramayana: Part 1’ will hit the theaters on Diwali this year, while ‘Ramayana: Part 2’ is expected to release in Diwali 2027.
Apart from this, Kajal Aggarwal will play the role of Ravana’s wife Mandodari, while Rakul Preet Singh will play the role of Shurpanakha.
