Tips for reusing lipstick
Many times our favorite lipstick dries without any notice. Sometimes, when we use it, it breaks quickly. In such a situation, we consider it useless and throw it away. But do you know how dry and old lipstick can be reused? In this article, we will tell you some simple solutions by which you can reuse your dried lipstick.
use coconut oil
If your matte lipstick has become too dry and is not applying properly on the lips, there is no need to throw it away. Take out the lipstick a little and put one or two drops of coconut or almond oil on it. Leave it overnight, and your lipstick will be smooth again the next day.
hot water solution
The main reason for lipstick drying is the loss of moisture. For this, fill hot water in a bowl and close the lipstick tightly and keep it in it for 5 to 10 minutes. The warm water will melt the wax and the texture will become soft again.
fix broken lipstick
It hurts when expensive lipstick breaks, but it’s easy to fix. Lightly heat the bottom end of the broken part and when the lipstick melts, glue it back to the base. Keep it in the fridge for 1 hour, and your lipstick will gel again.
Create Custom Lip Palette
If you have many small pieces of lipstick, scoop them out into a spoon. Then melt it slightly by placing it on the candle flame. Add some Vaseline to it and fill this mixture in a small container and let it freeze. This way, your new creamy lip balm or lipstick palette will be ready.
