According to a media report, the name ‘Battle of Galwan’ was considered limited. Salman wanted the title of the film to reflect a broader perspective, making it clear that the scope of the story was large. Hence, they chose the new name ‘Mathrubhoomi: May War Rest in Peace’.
Release date uncertainty
However, the release date of the film is not clear yet. It was earlier reported that the film will release on April 17, but the poster shared with the new name does not mention the release date. Moreover, there are talks that the release of the film has been postponed. Official announcement is awaited.
