Song from the film KD: The Devil in controversy
New Delhi: Controversy is increasing regarding the Hindi song of the film KD: The Devil. The song starred Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt, while Manglik lent her voice.
After questions were raised over the lyrics of the song, it has been removed from all platforms. Now the artists have expressed their views in this matter.
Mangali apologized
Singer Mangali released a statement on social media and accepted her mistake. He said that the song has been removed respecting the sentiments of the public. Mangali clarified that his intention was not to hurt anyone’s sentiments. He called it an unintentional mistake and apologized wholeheartedly to everyone.
He also informed that necessary changes have been made in the lyrics of the song and the new version will be released soon. Mangli assured that such a situation will not arise in future and thanked the music director and the film team.
Nora Fatehi gave clarification
Nora Fatehi shared a video saying that the Hindi lyrics of the song were ‘obscene’ and ‘inappropriate’ and that she had no idea about the Hindi translation. After this controversy, the makers of the song have removed the Hindi version from YouTube. Nora posted a video on social media on Wednesday (March 18), in which she expressed her views on the entire matter.
He told that he had shot this song in Kannada three years ago. He said that it was a part of a big film and he got a chance to work with a big star like Sanjay Dutt. They thought it was a remake of an iconic song.
discussion arose in parliament
Samajwadi Party MP Anand Bhadauria raised this issue in the Lok Sabha. Minister Ashwini Vaishnav clarified that the song has already been banned. Referring to Article 19(2) of the Constitution, he said that freedom of expression is not completely unlimited.
It is subject to restrictions in matters such as public order, decency, morality and safety of children and women. The minister further said, ‘Today things spread very fast through digital medium. The government is ready to take strict steps to protect the society, especially children, women and weaker sections.
movie release date
The film ‘KD: The Devil’ is scheduled to release in April 2026, starring Dhruv Sarja in the lead role. It is a pan-India film and will be released in multiple languages. However, the controversy surrounding this song has increased the pressure on the film’s team.
