New education system for students
New initiative of Haryana School Education Board
Bhiwani The Haryana Board of School Education (HBSE) based in Haryana has provided a significant relief to lakhs of students and their parents of the state. From the new academic session, ‘Smart Books’ will be available to students of classes 9 to 12 studying in government and recognized schools of Haryana. To reduce expensive tuition fees and dependence on teachers, the board has decided to add a special QR code with each question in the books.
Class will start from QR code
Class will start as soon as you scan the QR code
These smart books, being developed on the model of Meghalaya Education Board, have completely changed the traditional way of studying. If a student does not understand a question while studying at home, all he has to do is scan the QR code printed on the book with his smartphone. As soon as the code is scanned, the complete video lecture of that subject will start immediately on the mobile screen. Board Chairman Dr. Pawan Kumar said that along with these smart books, students will also get the facility of virtual lab for free.
Students will connect with AI and internet
Haryana students will be directly connected to AI and Internet
Through Virtual Lab, students from rural areas will also be able to directly get accurate information about Internet, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and modern technological activities. According to the information received, the publication work of these hi-tech books is now in the final stages. Soon these books will be available in markets and schools, which will provide relief to children from common and poor families from expensive coaching classes.
Changes in the new result system
Now result will be made on 6 subjects instead of 5
Along with smart books, the education board has also made a significant change in its passing formula. From the new session, the trilingual formula will be strictly implemented in classes 9 and 10 under the National Education Policy 2010. Earlier students were evaluated on the basis of only five subjects, but now they will have to pass the examination of 6 subjects. Apart from Hindi and English, students will have to compulsorily choose one additional language out of Sanskrit, Punjabi or Urdu.
New scheme for deaf and dumb children
Sign language became a subject for deaf and dumb children
The Education Board has taken a sensitive decision regarding the future of deaf and dumb children studying in 8 special schools of the state. Now a separate study plan has been made for the convenience of these special children. According to the report, deaf and dumb students will now get complete freedom to choose their language and ‘Indian Sign Language’ will be taught as a regular subject in their curriculum.
