Naagin 7 declines, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah in top 5

Big change in the world of TV

Mumbai: BARC India has released the Week 10 TRP report for March 2026, which has seen significant changes in the TV charts. The most shocking thing is that Naagin 7, which was on the top for the last few weeks, has now dropped straight to number 10. This supernatural drama series of Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary and Namik Paul now seems to be going away from the audience.

On the other hand, Sony SAB’s popular comedy series Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has performed brilliantly and made its place in the top 5. Star Plus’ show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2’ continues to remain at the first position and remains a favorite among the viewers. At second place is ‘Anupama’, which is maintaining its strong position.

At the third position is Zee TV’s ‘Tum Se Tum Tak’, which has been performing well in recent weeks. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah has impressed the audience by reaching the fourth position. The current track of the show, which includes family, humor and social commentary, is touching the hearts of the audience. Vasuda has also made his place in the top 5, who was in good ranking in the last weeks.

‘Ganga Mai Ki Betiyaan’ is at the sixth position, while ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’ has made a slight decline at the seventh position. ‘Udne Ki Asha’ has slipped to number eight. At ninth place, ‘Jagaddhatri’ has entered the top 10 for the first time, which is considered a good achievement. But Naagin 7 has suffered the biggest blow, which is now at number ten.

This change shows that audience preferences are changing rapidly. While shows like family dramas and comedies are becoming stronger, stories with supernatural themes are becoming weaker. The success of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah proves that good scripts and relatable content can engage the audience for a long time.
