Box office position of Ustad Bhagat Singh: Competing with Dhurandhar 2
Ustad Bhagat Singh’s struggle in Mumbai
Mumbai: Pawan Kalyan’s film ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ is struggling at the box office. This action film, released on March 19, 2026, earned well initially, but now its earnings have declined in weekdays. The film has not yet crossed the Rs 100 crore mark and the number of viewers is also decreasing.
Situation of ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ in front of ‘Dhurandhar 2’
According to trade website Sacknilk, the film earned only Rs 1.75 crore on its sixth day i.e. Tuesday. The occupancy in theaters was only 19 percent, which is much less than the previous days. Earlier, the film had earned Rs 2.50 crore on the fifth day, Rs 7.50 crore on the fourth day and Rs 9.10 crore on the third day.
Total collection in six days
The film had a great opening on the first day and earned Rs 34.75 crore, registering 69 percent occupancy. But on the second day the collection came to 9 crores and started declining. So far, the total collection of the film in six days has been Rs 64.60 crore.
‘Dhurandhar 2’ dominates the box office
Along with Pawan Kalyan, this film also stars Sreeleela and Raashi Khanna in lead roles. This film of director Harish Shankar was special for the fans of Power Star, but it is facing tough competition from Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has earned more than Rs 575 crore in India in just six days, while its worldwide collection has reached close to Rs 900 crore.
This film of Ranveer Singh and Aditya Dhar is being liked very much by the audience, due to which Pawan Kalyan’s film is finding it difficult to survive. ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ has a good mix of action, drama and entertainment. Pawan Kalyan’s stylish avatar and powerful dialogues are pleasing the fans, but word of mouth and competition have slowed down the pace of the film. Films are still running to some extent in small towns, but the situation is normal in big cities.
movie predictions
Trade analysts believe that if the film does not improve in the next few days, it may face difficulties in recovering its budget. Nevertheless, it is not being considered a complete flop due to the popularity of Power Star. Film lovers now want to see whether there will be any improvement over the weekend or whether ‘Dhurandhar 2’ will continue its dominance. Overall, ‘Ustad Bhagat Singh’ has made a good start, but maintaining consistency has become a big challenge for it.
