The Revenge created a stir at the box office

Great earnings of Dhurandhar 2

Mumbai: Ranveer Singh’s new film ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has achieved tremendous success at the box office. Within a few days of its release, it has grossed more than Rs 900 crore globally. This action thriller of director Aditya Dhar has broken all the old records. In India, the film has grossed over Rs 500 crore nett, while overseas too is witnessing huge footfalls.

The story and visuals made the audience crazy

The story of the film is based on Karachi and Lyari regions of Pakistan. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of a courageous spy, who raids the enemy hideouts. The spectacular action sequences, great story and amazing visuals have enthralled the audience. Many people are considering it the biggest hit of the year. However, this bumper earning has created a stir in Pakistan.

Surprise of the people of Lyari

In a viral video, some locals of Lyari are seen surprised at the success of the film. One person jokingly says, ‘They should give us 80 percent of the earnings. Making films is his job, if one doesn’t work he will make another. Another said, ‘You have already earned Rs. 800 crores, now get the Cheel Chowk set renovated. If you have earned so much money by showing our area, then at least get some repairs done on it.

Environment recreated in Thailand

The Indian audience is laughing after hearing these funny comments. The video is becoming increasingly viral and memes are being made on social media. Actually, the film was not shot in Pakistan. The production team exactly recreated the narrow streets of Lyari and the atmosphere of Cheel Chowk in Bangkok, Thailand. There a grand set was built on 6 acres, in which hundreds of artists and technicians worked hard day and night. The detailing was done with such precision that the audience is not able to differentiate between real and reel. Some scenes have also been shot at various locations in India.

Dhurandhar 2: A cinematic marvel

It is clear that ‘Dhurandhar 2’ is not just a film, but a cinematic achievement. Everyone is liking Ranveer Singh’s acting, supporting cast and action blasts. The film is now rapidly moving towards the Rs 1000 crore club. It is understandable to be jealous of some people after seeing this success in Pakistan, but these funny reactions have become a new form of entertainment.
